Galvanized blackened blue metal surface coloring

Metal surface coloring

Metal surface coloring, as the name implies, is to "paint" the metal surface color, change its single, cold metal color, replaced by colorful, to meet the different needs of different industries.

After coloring the metal, it generally increases the anticorrosion ability, and some also increase the anti-wear ability. But the main application of surface color technology is still in the field of decoration, that is, to beautify life, beautify society.

galvanized

Galvanized refers to the surface treatment technology of plating a layer of zinc on the surface of metal, alloy or other materials in order to play the role of beauty and rust prevention. The main method now used is hot dip galvanizing.

Black/blue

The surface of steel parts blackened, also known as blue. The principle is to rapidly oxidize the surface of steel products, so that it forms a dense oxide film protective layer, and improve the anti-rust ability of steel parts.

Blackening treatment is now commonly used in the traditional alkaline heating blackening and blackening late room temperature two kinds. But the effect of normal temperature blackening process is not good for low carbon steel. It is better to use alkaline blackening for A3 steel.

At high temperature (about 550℃) oxidized ferric oxide is sky blue, so it is called blue processing. Ferric oxide formed at low temperature (about 3 50℃) is dark, so it is called blackening treatment. In weapon manufacturing, blue processing is commonly used; In industrial production, blackening treatment is commonly used.

Using alkaline oxidation method or acid oxidation method; To form an oxide film on the metal surface to prevent corrosion of the metal surface, this process is called "blue". The oxide film formed after the "blue" treatment of the surface of ferrous metal. The outer layer is mainly ferric oxide and the inner layer is ferrous oxide.

Blue (black) operation process:

Workpiece clamping → degreasing → cleaning → pickling → cleaning → oxidation → cleaning → saponification → hot water washing → inspection. The so-called saponification is to soak the workpiece with soap aqueous solution at a certain temperature. The purpose is to form a layer of iron stearate film to improve the corrosion resistance of the workpiece.
